Description
We are looking for guides to join our team June through September. Our guides are knowledgeable, organized, safety conscious, and environmentally responsible. The team is full of energetic, fun-loving guides who ensure all the guests have an exceptional travel experience. ARE YOU ENERGETIC and ORGANIZED? While leading multi day trips in Western Canada guides are responsible for groups of up to twelve people, driving the van, leading day hikes, organizing meal preparation, keeping meticulous records, and maintaining daily scheduling. LIKE MEETING PEOPLE and SHARING STORIES? The minimum requirements for the job are; first aid, class 4 driver license, twenty-one years old, IGA apprentice hiking guide or course registration, and the ability to speak German, French or Spanish. Leadership experience and previous outdoor pursuits in the Rockies, British Columbia or the Yukon are an asset. In house training will add to each guide’s skill set and competence. We offer continuous support from beginning to end of each trip including; meal plans, detailed daily schedules, record keeping forms, our Tourbook and twenty-four hour phone support combined with a team of guides and preseason training. Skills we are looking for
